Shark cartilage is found in the skeletal structure of sharks. It is made of about 18~30% Mucopolysaccharides, 40% proteins, 5-20% glycosaminoglycans, and calcium salts. The use of shark cartilage attracted popular attention after some publications suggested that sharks don't get cancer and implied that shark cartilage could prevent cancer in humans.

Mucopolysaccharides and chondroitin might be the active constituent in shark cartilage that inhibit angiogenesis and prevent the new vessel growth required for solid tumor proliferation. Shark cartilage doesn't affect existing blood vessels. It stops new blood vessel development. In a healthy body, our blood vessels are in place and they last for years. It is only if you have a fast growing tumor that you need new blood vessels. Cancer tissue is fast growing and has blood vessels which are only one cell thick, whereas normal blood vessels are three or four cells thick. So in a cancer tumor, these blood vessels break down continuously and have to be replaced. If you stop the replacement blood vessels, you will make a tumour necrose and it will not be able to grow. Directions:
Preventive: Take 1~2 capsule(s) before meal, 3 times daily.
Arthritis: Take 2 capsules before meal, 2~3 times daily. For best result, combine with Glucosamine.
For Tumor: Take 3~4 capsules before meal, 3 times daily
